Roundtable in Lebanon

Today, in Beirut, a round table organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Lebanese Republic is taking place. A discussion on human rights in the occupied Crimea and a recent scandalous statement of the US President D. Trump on his decision to transfer the US Embassy to Jerusalem is being held.

The discussion is attended by the following delegates: Leader of the Crimean Tatar People – Mustafa Dzhemilev, Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People – Ilmi Umerov, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon – Ihor Ostash. The program also includes the speeches given by a member of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Fethi Kurtiy Shahin from Turkey, a famous dissident and vice-rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University the Professor Miroslav Marinovich, and others.

This meeting started by presenting the Crimean Tatar ceramic made by the master-ceramist Rustem Skibin, artworks of Georgy Brailovsky, and performance of the Crimean Tatar song by the Honored Artist of Ukraine and Crimea, Lenara Osmanova, in the beginning.
