Yalta Community «AKCHURA» has Celebrated its 15th Anniversary
On April 22, 2012 the President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, Refat Chubarov and the members of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ali Hamzin and Zaur Smirnov took part in the jubilee event, timed to the 15th anniversary of Yalta community of Volga-Ural and Siberian Tatars and Bashkirs of “AKCHURA”. The Head of the community is the famous activist of the diaspora of Volga Tatars Raisa Munirovna Alekseevna.
This important event was attended by the guests from Kazan – the Head of the department of relations with the foreign organizations, member of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Lenara Kuteeva, Chairman of the Board of Russian Public Foundation “Tatar Family” Milausha Gayfullina, the author and television anchorman of the program “Tatarlar” in “Tatarstan – New Century” (ТНВ) TV Channel Flura Abdullina, as well as the Head of the Crimean Republican Association of Volga Tatars “Idel” Ilmir Temirgaliev and others.
“AKCHURA” Community is famous for its versatile activity that makes a great contribution to the development of tolerance and strengthening of the interethnic consent and mutual respect in the peninsular. Yalta community of Volga-Ural and Siberian Tatars and Bashkirs served a basis for holding of the days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Crimea that are traditionally attended by the representatives of Crimean Tatar creative groups.
On an improvised scene, decorated by the national flag of Tatarstan and Crimean Tatar national flag the dancing and singing groups of “Akchora” community, consisting of both elder people and children, performed their concert program before the participants of the ceremonial event. The audience especially liked the national Tatar dances and literary – concert composition on Abdulla Tukay’s poetry “Ey Tugan Tel, Ey Matur Tel”.
Then Refat Chubarov addressed the participants of the jubilee, noting the high level of the activity of the community of Volga Tatars and their activity on the solution of such important tasks as preserving their national identity, culture and what is the most significant the native language. “Since the moment of the return of Crimean Tatars to their Homeland from deportation Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people regards one of its main task the restoration and strengthening of ties between Crimea and Kazan, broken by the deportation of Crimean Tatars, because such close people couldn’t and must not be separated from each other,”- Refat Chubarov underscored.
During the event Refat Chubarov, Ilmir Temirgaliev, Ali Hamzin and Zaur Smirnov had an opportunity to talk and exchange opinions with the member of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Lenara Kuteeva concerning the further forms of cooperation between the World Congress of Crimean Tatars and the World Congress of Tatars.
