Vladimir Bukovsky Celebrates His 70th Anniversary!

Dear Vladimir

On behalf of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and myself I’d like to congratulate you with your 70th anniversary.

Devoting much of your life to the uncompromising fight against the Communist regime of the USSR you still remain one of the recognized fighters for the human rights and peoples’ rights.

Due to your participation at the meeting of the Soviet human rights advocates, held on May 19, 2012 in Simferopol, as well as due to the participation of many our supporters on the democratic movement of the USSR at this meeting there was the possibility to found the Crimean Forum as the permanent meeting of the participants of the human rights advocacy movement of the USSR whose main task is to pass the experience of the human rights advocacy movement of the USSR to the modern activists of the civil society of the post-Soviet countries.

Let me wish you strong health, success in your work, broad circle of friends and faithful supporters.

Sincerely,

Mustafa Jemilev

Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people
