Victims of Stalin’s Criminal Deportation Were Commemorted in Bishkek

On May 18, 2013, the representatives of the Crimean Tatar diaspora met on the Crimean Tatar national mourning day in Alarchinsk cemetery in Bishkek (Kirgizia) to commemorate the victims of Stalin’s criminal deportation.

Mr Enver Atamanov, representative of the Crimean Tatar diaspora in Kirgizia informed.

The elders prayed for the memory of the victims of the genocide of Crimean Tatar people 1944. The elder generation that lived through the deportation recalled this terrible tragedy and told the youth about the events of May 18, 1944, as well as its drastic consequences for the Crimean Tatars.
