Today all schools of Crimea and Ukraine celebrated the last bell holiday

On May 27, 2011 the last bell rang in all Crimean schools including Crimean Tatar ones, with ceremonial school lines and festive events.

This year the last bell rang for 110 school leavers of the national Crimean Tatar schools. The school years leave lasting impression in the life of every person. For school leavers of Crimean Tatar schools parting with school is especially touching holiday. Trained in accordance with the national traditions in native schools they made good progress in their studies, as good as pupils studying in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian schools, but at the same time they had possibility to study other languages.

Many of school leavers kept to classic school uniform wearing black-brown-white colors with turquoise ribbons the same color as national Crimean Tatar flag with golden tamgha and inscription “Mezun” (School leaver).

The representatives of Crimean Tatar Mejlis, state, public organizations and foundations as well as the members of organizing committee of the program “Ana Tili Ogrunda Kuresh” (Fighting for the native language) visited every Crimean Tatar and bilingual school. Many of them gave memorable presents to school leavers and teachers.
