Reference: The Independence Day is considered to be the birthday of the United States as the separate and independent state.

The majority of Americans refer this holiday just as Fourth of July – the date of its celebration.

On July 4, 1776 the Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. In the premises of the City Hall of Philadelphia the representatives of 13 states ratified the document, proclaiming the independence of the United States from the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

The Declaration didn’t only become “the certificate of birth” of the new state, but the masterpiece of American literature.

The holiday is full of fireworks, barbeque and other bright events, held outdoor, as well as the concert performances and patriotic speeches.
