«Memory for Those Who Fell Victims of Gravest Crimes of Communist Regime Unites Us»,- Eugene Sverstuk

Speaking at the all-Crimean mourning meeting, timed to the 68th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from their historical Homeland – Crimea, the Ukrainian writer, dissident, human rights advocate and political essayist Eugene Sverstuk noted that the memory for those who fell victims of the gravest crimes of the Communist regime unites all those who take part in the mourning meeting in Simferopol today.

 “Crimean Tatar seed gave such a good and beautiful sprouts in Crimea, the people could return and keep on returning,- Eugene Sverstuk said. The youth must be proud of people who promoted the return of the Crimean Tatar people to their historical Homeland”.

Eugene Sverstuk also noted that he was very pleased to be here along with Crimean Tatars – the people that is full of dignity, self-respect, that honor one’s traditions and looking with hope to the future.
