We express our sincere condolences to the family of the Chairman of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov over the death of his father – Abduraman Seitasan oglu Chubarov

On March 30, 2014, the father of Refat Chubarov, the Chairman of the Mejlis Abduraman Chubarov died aged 84.

Abduraman Chubarov, born in Ayserez village, Sudak region, Crimean ASSR in 1931 was the first son of his parents – Seitasan and Rokh’e.

His mother died in his early childhood and he was brought up in his aunt’s family – Raima. When he was 13 he was deported from Crimea along with the rest Crimean Tatars. In Uzbekistan he worked hard to make his living in special settlements giving up his hope of education.

He was a father of four sons. Like the rest of his nationals he supported and helped the Crimean Tatar National Movement.

In 1968 he moved to Crimea with his family, but had to settle in Privolnoe village, Krasnoperekop region in Crimean step instead his native Ayserez. He worked as a mason – builder until his retirement and was held in respect among his fellow-villagers – people of different nationalities.

He always tried to live sharing his people’s hopes, joy and grief.

The funeral ceremony will be held on March 31, 2014 in Privolnoe village, Krasnoperekopsk region in 2 p.m. (Kyiv time) or 3 p.m. (Moscow time).
