Mejlis Sent a Group to Establish Direct Links with Its Nationals Who Suffered From Natural and Technological Disaster in Krymsk and Gelendzhik

A large number of Crimean Tatars are living in Krasnodar region that suffered from the natural disaster that resulted in hundreds of death and great damages. Back in the 60-es and 70-es of the 20th century many of them settled in Krymsk, Gelendzhik and other towns when Crimean Tatars were prohibited to return to Crimea…

The initiative groups of Crimean Tatars were formed at that time in every settlement in Krasnodar where they settled and were always distinguished by their consistency and activity in the national fight of the Crimean Tatar people for the return to Crimea and restoration of their rights.

In early 90-es many of them returned to Crimea. Some of them started resettling in Crimea, but still have to live in Krasnodar region…

Mejlis receives information that there are our nationals among the victims of the disaster…

The Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev sent a group, headed by his deputy Akhtem Chiygoz to establish the direct links with the nationals, living in Krymsk and other settlements that suffered from the natural and technological disaster most…

At the same time Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people asks the community to inform about the situation, relating to our nationals that directly suffered from the disaster in Krymsk, Gelendzhik and other settlements in Krasnodar region.
