Mejlis’ Leader Mustafa Jemilev Thanked Delegates of 5th Qurultay for Their Fruitful and Successful Work

On July 22, 2012 in conclusion of the work of the 4^th session of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5^th convocation the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev thanked the delegates of 5^th Qurultay for their fruitful and successful work.

“The items that were included into the agenda of the 4^th session of the 5^th convocation of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people were considered objectively and discussed in every details and respectively the decision was made on every one of them,”- M.Jemilev noted.

M.Jemilev is convinced that due to the decisions and amendments made to the documents of the 4^th session of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5^th convocation, Crimean Tatar national system proved even more that it is open and democratic.

 “If we will keep on working in this direction and will always keep to the democratic values, as well as not to let falsifying at the election to the bodies of the national self-governance,- Mejlis’ Leader continued, – the Crimean Tatar people will trust in their national bodies of power even more and will elect their own representatives in the future”.

The Leader of Mejlis Mustafa Jemilev thanked the delegates of Qurultay of the 5^th convocation for their trust in Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people in the framework of execution of the “Decision of Qurultay on the election of MPs of Ukraine and tasks of the bodies of the national self-governance of the Crimean Tatar people” to make decision on the consolidated position of Crimean Tatars at the election on October, 28, 2012.

In conclusion Mustafa Jemilev made a special note about the support of the nationals in the preparation and holding of the 4^th session of Qurultay of the 5^th convocation and thanked the first Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR for the life broadcasting of the work of Qurultay on July 21 and 22, 2012. “Many Crimean Tatars, living in the territory of Ukraine and abroad had possibility to see the session of the National assembly,”- M.Jemilev said.

In addition, the Leader of Mejlis M.Jemilev thanked the Crimean International Business Association on behalf of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people for the financial support in holding of the 4^th session of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5^th convocation.

We would remind you that on July 21-22, 2012 the4^th session of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5^th convocation was held in Simferopol. During two days of work the delegates considered the following questions: main principles of election of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people; coming election of MPs of Ukraine in October 2012; official symbols of the Crimean Tatar people – national flag, national emblem and anthem of the Crimean Tatar people; Central election commission on the election of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people.

Qurultay’s work was attended by about 200 delegates, representatives of the diplomatic missions, accredited in Ukraine, international organizations, Ukrainian and Crimean authorities, as well as the representatives of Crimean Tatar diasporas from the United States, Turkey and Romania.
