Mejlis Head Mustafa Jemilev Wishes Alim Hakimov Victory in Selective Final to Junior Eurovision from Ukraine

Ms Fakie Hakimova – mother of three children applied to the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People asking to support his son Alim Hakimov, a single Crimean and Crimean Tatar who get into the final selection to Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 from Ukraine.

According to Alim’s mother the boy has been practicing music for the last two years, but during this period due to his industry and voice he already became a finalist of the children’s song contest “Tatli Ses”, winner of grand prix at the international children’s festival “Near Black Sea” and “Taurida’s Stars”.

In addition, TV Channel “1+1” invites Alim to take part in the music project “The Voice Kids” in 2013.

According to Ms Fakie Hakimova her request to help Alim to take part in the selection final to Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 from Ukraine that will be held in the International Children Center Artek on August 2, 2013 didn’t leave indifferent MP of Ukraine Elena Netetskaya, Crimean Tatar TV Channel ATR and Foundation for Development of Crimea. Alim Hakimov will perform the original song “Simple Words” in the final.

This year the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Ukraine due to Nastya Petrik’s victory in Junior Eurovision last year.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 will be held on November 30, 2013 in Palace “Ukraine”. Eight countries have already confirmed their participation in the contest. The participation of competitors from more 6 countries is still undecided.
