Mejlis Head Mustafa Jemilev Makes His Working Visit to Lithuania

From October 21 to 23, 2013, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev is making his working visit to Vilnius (Lithuania).

In the framework of his three-day visit he plans to hold a range of the official meeting with the Prime Minister of Lithuania Mr Algirdas Butkavichus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Mr Linas Linkyavichus, the members of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as with Mr Vitautas Landsbergis, former Head of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, MEP, Mr Akin Algan, Ambassador of Turkey to the Republic of Lithuania, Mr Valery Zhovtenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania and Lithuanian dissidents and former political prisoners.

During his visit Mustafa Jemilev will share the information about the initiative of the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Mr Stefan Fule as regards to the efficient solution of the Crimean Tatars’ problems.

The Mejlis Head Mustafa Jemilev also plans to hold the press conference in the Press-Center of the news agency ELTA «Lietuvos naujienų agentūra».

The Mejlis Head Mustafa Jemilev is accompanied by Mr Ali Hamzin, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations at the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Mr Adas Yakubauskas, Head of the Union of Communities of Lithuanian Tatars, representative of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People in Lithuania and Mr Rustem Umerov, financial advisor of MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev.
