Mejlis’ Delegation Takes Part in Meeting of Crimean Tatar Public Organizations of Europe

On April 26, 2013 afternoon the Mejlis’ Leader Mustafa Jemilev and Head of the Department of foreign relations of Mejlis Ali Hamzin, Head of the Association of Crimean Tatars in Kyiv Aslan Omer Qirimli and delegate of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people Rustem Umerov took part in the meeting of the Association of culture and mutual assistance of Crimean Tatars of the Western Europe.

The meeting was organized and held by the Head of the Association Rafet Qaranlyk and representative of Mejlis in Germany, member of the Coordinating Council of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars in Germany Ahmet Ozay.

The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the Associations of culture and mutual assistance of Crimean Tatars in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and the Great Britain.

The main topic of the meeting was the consideration of the current situation in Crimea. The special attention was drawn to the fact that the Ukrainian authorities took course to ignoring the representative bodies of the Crimean Tatar people Qurultay – Mejlis.
