Meeting with the International Republican Institute

On March 8, 2023, a working meeting with representatives of the International Republican Institute (IRI) was held in the office of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat CHUBAROV, members of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Riza SHEVKIEV and Eskender BARIEV, the head of the programs of the Ukrainian Institute of Foreign Studies Timothy STOUTZENBERGER and the assistant of the Citizens of Ukraine program Ayar MEMETOV took part in the dialogue, giving a high assessment of the cooperation of the Ukrainian Institute of Education with the Mejlis and Crimean Tatar public organizations , which was started back in 2000.

– They discussed a number of proposals for further joint work on the most urgent problems related to the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war, – said the Chairman of the Mejlis.
