Meeting with the Ambassadors of the EU Member States
On September 12, 2017, at the office of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine in Kyiv the meeting of the Ambassadors of the EU Member States accredited in Ukraine with the Leader of the Crimean Tatar People Mustafa Dzhemilev, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov and human rights activist Oleksandra Matviychuk took place.
During the meeting, the Ambassadors of the EU Member States accredited in Ukraine, having received an information on the situation with Human Rights in the temporarily occupied Crimea, had an opportunity to ask invited guests questions and enter into a conversation with them.
In some aspects, particularly on an issue about violation of sanctions by individual European companies, was agreed that a detailed discussion of the messages would be continued at the “platforms” of the corresponding embassies.
At the end of the meeting Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov thanked the Head of the EU Representation in Ukraine, His Excellency the Ambassador Hugues Mingarelli and all participants of the meeting, the Ambassadors of the EU countries, for the continued support of Ukraine, for special attention to the Crimea and the Crimean Tatar people.
