Meeting Between Leader of Mejlis, M.Jemilev and Head of the Council of Ministers of ARC, A.Mogilev

The meeting between the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine, Mustafa Jemilev and his First Deputy, member of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Refat Chubarov with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Anatoly Mogilev was held on December 28, 2011. During the meeting, held in the office of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of ARC, the parties discussed a range of issues, demanding direct involvement of the highest authorities of the state and the Head of the executive power of Crimea.

Thus, the parties paid special attention to the issues, related to the situation with Crimean Tatar settlements – lack of engineering services, schools, medical facilities, and hard-coated roads.

At this, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Anatoly Mogilev and Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Jemilev, considering very scanty financing, provided by the State budget of Ukraine and ARC for 2012 for the Program of the resettlement of the formerly deported persons and their descendants, discussed the possibility of returning to this items during the consequent amendments to the budget of ARC for 2012.

The parties also discussed the possible ways of mobilization of the external investments, including on irretrievable basis, for the resettlement of Crimean Tatar settlements, in particular, the construction of multistoried buildings, schools and nurseries. The issues of inter-religious relations in Crimea, education and training of the professionals among the youth and ensuring representation of Crimean Tatars in the state executive authority and others were also discussed.

Summing up the discussion of the sensitive issues, demanding urgent solution, Mustafa Jemilev also made Anatoly Mogilev the concrete proposals, aimed at the establishment of the systematic interrelations between the President of Ukraine and the Crimean Tatar people.
