Leaders of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Congratulate Delegates of 10th Ukrainian World Congress with its Opening and Wished Them Fruitful Work
TO DELEGATES OF UKRAINIAN WORLD CONGRESS
Dear delegates of the 10th Ukrainian World Congress
We congratulate you with the opening of the 10th Ukrainian World Congress!
We are sure that the jubilee meeting of the honored representatives of the Ukrainian community from around the world in the great city of Lvov will give the Ukrainian nation and multi-national Ukrainian society new forces and energy for the further development of the independent democratic Ukraine.
In the 20th century the Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian peoples suffered from all terrors of the totalitarian communist regime and great human losses caused by Holodomor, deportations and repressions committed against them. Thanks to God our people not only stood, but became stronger in their fight for their freedom and rights to live freely in their land! Let’s recall with great honor many thousands of the unconquerable fighters for the freedom of their peoples and their land!
Today we are united by the common desire to build such Ukrainian state that would ensure all conditions and guarantees for free development of the Ukrainian nation, indigenous peoples and national minorities.
We are sure that we will also achieve our another common goal – Ukraine’s entrance into the European Union, the united family of the European nations.
We know and believe that everything that will happen, because the historical past of our people strongly suggests that two indigenous peoples – Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars getting united always won.
We wish the delegates and participants of the 10th Ukrainian World Congress the fruitful work!

MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev
