Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Mustafa Jemilev Met with Speaker of Parliament of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Mr Hasan Bozer

The meeting was held on August 27, 2012 in the framework of the working visit of the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The Speaker of the Parliament of the TurkishRepublic of Northern Cyprus Mr Hasan Bozer noted that it is a great honor for him to receive the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev as he regards his counterpart as his brother.

In his turn, the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev informed the Speaker of the Parliament of TRNC Hasan Bozer about the current situation with the Crimean Tatar people and the social and political situation on the eve of the Parliamentary elections in Ukraine.

The parties also discussed the prospects of further cooperation between Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the Parliament of TRNC.

The Leader of Mejlis was accompanied at the meeting by his assistant, Head of the Committee of Crimean International Business Association (CIBA) on Investments and International Trade Rustem Umerov.
