Leader of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People Mustafa Jemilev Visits Germany

On April 26, 2013 the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev made his one day visit to Germany where he visited Frankfort on the Main, Kerpen and Cologne that have big Crimean Tatar and Turkish communities.

He was accompanied by the Head of the Department of foreign relations Ali Hamzin, Head of the Association of Crimean Tatars in Kyiv Aslan Omer Qirimli and delegate of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people Rustem Umerov.

This visit was made on the request and suggestion of the heads of Crimean Tatar and Turkish communities in Germany. The reason for this was their extreme concern about the destiny of the representative body of the Crimean Tatar people – the national system Qurultay – Mejlis, subjected to the policy of ignoring, splitting and destruction in Ukraine, conducted by the Head of Crimean Government A.Mogilev.
