Leader of Mejlis M.Jemilev Met Chairman of Council of Ministers of ARC A.Mogilev

On November 9, 2011 the leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev and his First Deputy, Head of the Parliamentary faction “Qurultay-Rukh” in the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea Refat Chubarov met with the newly elected Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anatoly Mogilev and MP of Ukraine, Chairman of the Temporary Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on ARC Boris Deych.

The parties of the meeting discussed a range of urgent problems, requiring coordination of efforts both the leadership of the Council of Ministers of ARC and Ukrainian parliamentarians.

At this the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev drew attention of his interlocutors to the issues, requiring the legislative ensuring of the restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people and the draft law of the State budget of Ukraine for 2012 (particularly, financing of the return and resettlement of Crimean Tatars and people, belonging to other nationalities who were subjected to deportation on the ethnic grounds).

He also stated Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people’s position concerning a range of sensitive Crimean problems, including the issues of interethnic relations and just allocation of land plots to Crimean residents.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of ARC Anatoly Mogilev underscored the importance of the constant dialogue between the authorities and all subjects of political and public life of the peninsular that, undoubtedly, would allow to find the optimal solutions to all unsolved questions.

The Chairman of the Temporary Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on ARC Boris Deych informed about the activity and plans of the Commission in legslative ensuring of the issues, related to the development of Crimea.

In conclusion of the meeting the parties stated their willingness to continue the dialogue in order to solve timely all the issues, ensuring the sustainable development of Crimea and civil consent in the peninsular.
