Investigation of Accident in House of Son of Mejlis Head Mustafa Jemilev to Be Public and Unbiased

On May 27, 2013, the accident took place in the house of the son of the Head of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev.

Haiser Jemilev accidentally killed a man from a rifle.

The accident took place around 3.30 p.m. in Bakhchisaray as a result of the careless handling of weapons.

At this moment the Head of Mejlis was in Simferopol. His elder son Eldar informed him about the tragedy by the phone.

Mustafa Jemilev informed the law enforcement agencies about the accident and they came to the scene.

At the moment the law enforcement officials investigate the details of the accident at the scene.

Mejlis Leader Mustafa Jemielv stated that his family and relatives do their best to assist the investigation and expressed his hope that the investigation will be open and objective.

The family of the Head of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People Mustafa Jemilev expresses his sincere condolences to the late Fevzi Edemov’s relatives and friends. “Our family grieves and shares the pain of the loss of the late Fevzi Edemov’s family,”- Mustafa Jemilev said.
