Annual Meeting Timed to International Human Rights Day to Be Held with Support of Mejlis on December 10, 2013

On November 5, 2013, the meeting of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People was held in Aqmescit. During the consideration of the organizing committee on conducting the meeting dedicated to the International Human Rights Day celebrated on December 10, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov reminded that the all-Crimean meeting dedicated to the International Human Rights Day to be held in Crimea with support of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and Crimean Tatar public organizations. According to the Chairman of the Mejlis Mr Chubarov, this year on December 10 in accordance with the tradition the annual meeting dedicated to the International Human Rights Day will be held with support of the Mejlis.

Mr Akhtem Chiygoz, Mr Aider Adzhimambetov, Mr Zaur Smirnov as well as the members of the Mejlis Mr Zeynur Yakubov and Mr Lenmar Yunusov entered the organizing committee on suggestion of the Mejlis Head. Mr Akhtem Chiygoz was appointed the Head of the Organizing Committee.

Note: The International Human Rights Day is celebrated annually on December 10 on suggestion of the UN General Assembly since 1950. This day in 1948 the UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
