«Alraid» and Association of Crimean Tatars of Kyiv Signed Memorandum on Cooperation
On March 13, 2013 the Head of Association “Alraid” Bassil Mareei and Head of the Board of the Association of Crimean Tatars of Kyiv Aslan Umerov signed the memorandum on joining their efforts and cooperation in the framework of the joint social projects in the cultural and educational, religious and charitable fields, the press service of the Association reports.
This memorandum confirms the agreements, reached about joining the efforts and mutual cooperation in the framework of the joint social projects, aimed at the development of the religious, educational, cultural and charitable activities.
The Crimean Association (Qırımlılar Cemiyeti) in Kyiv is the representative body of Crimean Tatars in the capital of Ukraine. The Association is encouraging the unity and creative enrichment of the Crimean Tatar people, supporting its spiritual, cultural and social heritage outside its historical homeland. The Association holds meetings with the nationals to develop the unity and support their distinctive values and traditions.
As well as the Association “Alraid” the Association of Crimean Tatars supports various initiatives of the intercultural relations, aimed at the development of peace, tolerance and mutual respect between various cultures and religions of Ukraine.
