Dear compatriots!

I am affected by courage of each of you: hundreds of thousands of Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians, and people of other nationalities who live in Crimea.

By your openly proclaimed boycott against illegal elections that are organized by the Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, you demonstrated to the whole world your own dignity and loyalty to your own country – Ukraine.

Your civil courage and determination, shown under the Russian occupation conditions, are noted by many governments, and inspire politicians to take actions that must restore the state sovereignty of Ukraine over Crimea.

The Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People notes with appreciation of the total non-participation of the Crimean Tatars in the illegal elections on March 18, 2018, organized by the Russian occupants in Crimea.

On behalf of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, I express my gratitude to the hundreds of thousands of citizens of Ukraine who live in Crimea and do not allow themselves to be involved into the criminal activities organized by the Russian occupants.

Crimea will be liberated from the Russian occupants!

Crimea will be granted the status of Crimean Tatar Autonomy as a part of Independent Ukraine!
