MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev and Members of Mejlis Leave to Vilnius to Take Part in Eastern Partnership Summit

From November 27 to 29, 2013, the well-known Soviet Human Rights defender, Mp of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev left to Vilnius receiving the official invitation of the Lithuanian Seimas to take part in the Parliamentary Forum of Democracy held in the framework of the Eastern Partnership Summit.

The event will be attended by the Head of the Committees of foreign affairs of the EU member states. During the work of the Summit “Parliamentary Forum of Democracy” Mustafa Jemilev will have the opportunity to report on the situation with the Crimean Tatars.

In his official visit Mustafa Jemilev was joined by Mr Omer Qirimli, Vice Chairman of the Mejlis, Head of the Department of foreign relations, investments and development of the national economy and Mr Ali Hamzin, Head of the Department of Foreign Relation at the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.

We would remind you that on November 28-29, 2013, the ratification of the EU – Ukraine Association Agreement is planed in Vilnius.
