Leader of Crimean Tatar People Mustafa Jemilev Celebrates His 70th Anniversary
Today, on November 13, 2013, Mustafa Jemilev, one of the founders and members of the Initiative group for the protection of the human rights in the Soviet Union, prisoner of the Soviet camps, laureate of Nansen Refugee Award, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People (1991-2013), MP of Ukraine, leader of the Crimean Tatar people celebrates his 70th anniversary.
The members of the Mejlis wished the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev good health, inexhaustible energy and wellbeing in his family.
“Mustafa Jemilev’s courage, wisdom and commitment inspired several generations of the Crimean Tatars and many enslaved peoples for the fight against the historical injustice. His authority and experience in the protection of the human rights and freedoms, national dignity and honor still remain an integral part of the process of the restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people,”- the members of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People note.
The celebration of Mustafa Jemilev’s 70th anniversary starts at 3 p.m. in Marakand restaurant.
