Mustafa Jemilev: I’m Ready to Share Everything My Family Has with Late Fevzi Edemov’s Family and Children

On May 29, 2013, about 100 people, including parents, relatives and friends, as well as Mustafa Jemilev, Head of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People and members of his family, Refat Chubarov, First Vice Head of Mejlis, Ahtem Chiygoz, Deputy Head of Mejlis, uncle of the late Fevzi, Mejlis’ members and neighbors gathered at the house of Fevzi Edemov’s father in Tenistoe village, Bakhchisaray region to give the last honors to Fevzi Edemov.

Fevzi Edemov’s mother asked Mustafa Jemilev to come a bit earlier. “The local Imam called me and said that the mother of the late asked me to come earlier, as she considered me the closest person of her family and asked me to make prayer for the peace of Fevzi’s soul before the ablution of the body,”- Mejlis Head M.Jemilev told.

“You and I lost a son,”- Mustafa Jemilev said addressing Fevzi Edemov’s parents. “I admit that my son Haiser is guilty in this funeral. It is a great sorrow for me and my family. I share your pain and our family mourns with you. Fevzi was like son for us,”- he said.

Mustafa Jemilev also noted that he is going to share everything his family has with the late Fevzi Edemov’s family and children.
