Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Starts Consideration of Draft Provisions on Elections of Delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar People

On November 26, 2012 the regular meeting of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people was held in Aqmescit (Simferopol).

The whole meeting that lasted several hours was devoted to the consideration of the Provisions on the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people.

The First Deputy Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov presented the participants of the meeting the comparison table, containing the Draft Provisions on the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people, developed by the Central Election Commission and proposals that were submitted Mejlis members and representatives of regional mejlises to the working group.

During the vivid and item-by-item consideration of the Draft Provisions by members of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and invited members of the Central Election Commission they managed to consider a half of the document’s items. The Mejlis meeting proclaimed one day break. After that on November 28, 2012 the consideration of the Draft Provisions on the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people will be continued.
