Head of Mejlis’ Foreign Relations Department Took Part in Celebration of the 94th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Poland

Invited by the General Consul of the Republic of Poland in Sevastopol the Head of the Department of foreign relations of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ali Hamzin took part in celebration of the 94th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Poland, held in Sevastopol on November 16, 2012.

The event was also attended by the official figures from the City Hall of Sevastopol, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Crimea, religious figures and city’s residents. The General Consul of Poland in Sevastopol Mr Veslav Mazur spoke before the guests, telling about the activity of Poland Consulate that made a big work in order to make the process of receiving visas easier. He made a special emphasize on the necessity of the systematic approach in the development of tourism between Ukraine and Poland that has a great prospect and potential for reaching higher indicators in tourism.

Speaking with the General Consul of the Republic of Poland in Sevastopol Mr Veslav Mazur Ali Hamzin passed him congratulations on behalf of the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Poland and his warmest words of thankfulness for the stable development of the fruitful cooperation between Poland community and Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

The Head of Mejlis’ foreign relations department Ali Hamzin also told his colleagues about the visit of the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev to Berlin in the beginning of November where he took part in the work of the Platform of European Consciousness and Memory.
