Mustafa Jemilev Met with Nationals, Living in Qalay Settlement, Dzhankoy Region and Dzhankoy Town

On October 20, 2012 the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev met with the nationals, living in Qalay (Azovskoe) settlement, Dzhankoy region and Dzhankoy town.

More than 200 people came to meet Mejlis’ Leader Mustafa Jemilev in Qalay settlement and Dzhankoy where the packed audience of nationals met with the administration of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

The meeting in Qalay settlement and Dzhankoy was also attended by the independent candidate to the MPs of Ukraine in the elective district #3 Vladimir Shklyar.

Mejlis’ Leader Mustafa Jemilev, addressing the local residents, reminded them that on October 28, 2012 the elections of the MPs of Ukraine will be held in Ukraine and new Verkhovna Rada will be formed.

“In this respect the delegates of the national convention at the 4th session of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5th convocation, held on July 21-22, 2012 in Simferopol adopted the “Decision of Qurultay on the elections of the MPs of Ukraine and tasks of the bodies of the national self-governance of the Crimean Tatar people,”- Mejlis’ leader noted. The Decision was adopted to consolidate the position of Crimean Tatars in the elections on October 28, 2012 and to ensure the execution of the document by all the bodies of the national self-governance of Crimean Tatars.

Moreover, Mustafa Jemilev also underscored that on July 27, 2012 the United opposition “Batkivschina” and Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people signed the joint statement about the completion of the negotiations about the participation in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada and cooperation in the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation through the candidates, delegated by Mejlis to the voting list of the United opposition.

Describing the independent candidate to the MPs of Ukraine on the elective district #3 Vladimir Shklyar Mejlis’ Leader Mustafa Jemilev noted that Vladimir Shklyar has an experience in working in the Ukrainian Parliament and proved himself to be an honest and responsible professional. “In 2002 he von in the Crimean majoritarian district #8. After becoming the MP of Ukraine Vladimir Shklyar went keenly into the agricultural policy and land issues,”- M.Jemilev noted.

“Supporting the independent candidate to the MPs of Ukraine Vladimir Shklyar today you will obtain the professional assistant in the solution of many burning issues of the day,”- Mustafa Jemilev said, addressing the nationals.

Recently Vladimir Shklyar held about 200 meetings with the residents of Krasnogvardeisky and Dzhankoy regions. Most of the appeals related to the land issues and unemployment.

“I am a candidate that has teeth and I’m going to work in the legislative body of Ukraine,”- Vladimir Shklyar said, addressing the residents of Dzhankoy region. According to Vladimir Shklyar he was going to continue his activity in the agricultural committee of the Parliament of Ukraine, and deal with the development of agriculture and restoration of the village infrastructure, as well as to promote the reduction of unemployment, particularly among the youth.
