«Mr Azarov Holds Post of Prime Minister for Last Month and Could Let Himself Telling Rubbish,»- Mustafa Jemilev
The Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev considers that Nicolai Azarov’s call to Crimean Tatars to stop calling themselves “deportees” was made to attract the Russian chauvinists of Crimea before the elections. Mustafa Jemilev made this statement in his interview to the journalists.
“Of course, we are Crimean Tatars. Our nationality is not “deportees”. However, the state budget that Azarov signs has the separate item – “expenses, relating to the resettlement of the deported persons”. The Prime Minister must read the documents he sings more carefully,”- Mustafa Jemilev underscored.
“However the thing is that Azarov gathered a special kind of an audience in the Russian Theatre. He wanted them to like him so much before the elections. Most of the audience there had the chauvinistic moods and his statement won the applause. In the long run Azarov works the Prime Minister last month and could let himself telling rubbish,”- Mustafa Jemilev said.
We would remind you that on October 18, 2012 being in Crimea and answering the question from the audience about the situation with the financing of the State program of the return and resettlement of the deported citizens, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Nicolai Azarov called Crimean Tatars stop calling themselves the deported people.
“Come on, stop calling yourself the deportees,- the Prime Minister said. – You’ve integrated into our society, you became an integral part of it”. After these words the audience applauded.
According to Azarov the government solved and will keep on solving the problems of Crimean Tatars and other nationalities that suffered from the Soviet regime.
