“Shamil Alaydin Name will be Given to Alma-Tarhan School,”- Ilmi Umerov
On October 12, 2012 the commemoration evening, timed to the 100th anniversary of a well-known Crimean Tatar writer, poet and public figure Shamil Alyadin was held in Crimean Tatar theatre.
The Head of the Bakhchisaray Regional State Administration, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov, the Head the Permanent Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of AR Crimea on Culture Sergei Tsekov, the Chancellor of Crimean Ingeneering – Pedagogical University Fevzi Yakubov, the Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers of AR Crimea Aziz Abdullaev, Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Ibraim Mamutov, Professor of Taurida National University Ayder Memetov, as well as the Head of the Association of Crimean Tatar Writers Riza Fazyl said many warm words about Shamil Alyadin.
In his speech Ilmi Umerov stated that there are three Crimean Tatar schools in Bakhchisaray. “One of them is located in Alma-Tarhan (today – Vilino) village. This very Alma-Tarhan school will be named after Shamil Alyadin. We are going to consider this issue in the nearest future,”- I.Umerov noted.
We would remind you that on July 12, 2012 the memorial plate to well-known Crimean Tatar writer and public figure Shamil Alaydin was opened on 20, Zhukov Street in Simferopol where he lived and worked.
