Ladies and Gentlemen

I would like to express my sincere gratitude on behalf of the Charitable organization “Foundation for Development of Crimea” that acts as a coordinator already for the second time of the annual meeting between the leaders of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the diplomatic missions and international organizations, accredited in Ukraine, for the opportunity to speak before this high meeting.

The experience of the highly developed countries testifies to the necessity to form the steady, efficient, socially responsible and initiative class of entrepreneurs, integrated to the system of public values.

In this respect, let me tell you in short about the initiative, developed along with the Crimean International Business Association that set a task to create the new uniting communicating platform on the basis of which it would be possible to make the effective interrelation and fruitful cooperation of the entrepreneurs of the region, including Crimean Tatar ones, for the well being of Crimea and all its citizens.

With assistance of the experts on building strategies, experts on development in various fields, functional experts, agencies on social investments, international community, in cooperation with the governmental and regulating bodies of Crimea and Ukraine, with participation of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people we will try to develop the recommendations for the steady development of Crimea in conditions of continuing repatriation and resettlement of Crimean Tatars. We are sure that such approach also fully complies with the interests and wellbeing of all Crimean community.

The goal of this work is to promote the national and regional economic projects, to improve the social standards of Crimean residents.

The joined initiative, proposed demands the internal understanding and external support.

The international mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange of the experiences among the specialists and professionals will make for the actualization of the issues, relating to the social responsibility among the entrepreneurs of Crimea, as well as to provide the entrepreneurs the possibility to implement the projects, aimed at structuring, support and development of their businesses.

The Crimean International Business Association supported by Mejlis and diplomatic missions, represented by the commercial attachés and heads of the economic departments on the basis of their platform suggests to start already this year an open dialogue on the economic development of Crimea, that will result in implementation of the mutually beneficial projects in the region.

In conclusion I’d like to ask you to consider the mentioned initiative on holding the similar general meeting in Crimea, to outline all together the circle of persons that could attend it.

On September 18, 2012 the second meeting between Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and heads of the diplomatic missions and international organizations, accredited in Ukraine was held on HYATT hotel.

The main reporters of the meeting were the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev, the President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov, Head of the Council of Ministers of ARC Anatoly Mogilev, as well as the President of the Charitable organization “Foundation for Development of Crimea” Rustem Umerov, advisor of the OSCE High Commissioner Alexander Vinnikov, international coordinator of the group of experts on preparation of the independent report on situation in Crimea in the framework of the preparation to the International Forum Andrew Wilson.

The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Viktor Plakida, as well as the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

The meeting was held with financial support of the charitable organization “Foundation for Development of Crimea”.
