Head of League of Crimean Tatar Women Safinar Jemileva Welcomes Wife of Turkish Prime Minister Emine Erdogan in Crimea

On September 14, 2012, at the first day of the 9th Forum of Yalta European Strategy (YES), attended by the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan the meeting between the Head of the League of Crimean Tatar women Safinar Jemileva and wife of the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Emine Erdogan was held.

After the welcoming speeches of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as the first discussion over the political and economic situation in Ukraine and in the world, the ex-President of Poland Alexander Kvasnevsky acted as a moderator of the exchange of opinions between the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan, including the issues of the integration of Ukraine into the European Union.

After the first part of the opening of the forum, held in Livadia Palace, Safinar hanym Jemileva welcomed the wife of the Turkish Prime Minister Emine Erdogan and her daughter Sumeyye Erdogan in Crimea.

The Head of the League of Crimean Tatar women Safinar Jemileva was accompanied by the members of the League of Crimean Tatar women Zarema Menseitova and assistant of the Leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Liliya Muslimova.

As reported, in 2003 in the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Crimea the bright cultural and introducing program was prepared with the personal participation of Safinar hanym Jemileva, specially for the wife of the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic. Emine hanym Erdogan along with Safinar hanym Jemileva visited the well known sights of Crimea and ancient historical and cultural monuments of the Crimean Tatar people, as well as the office of the League of Crimean Tatar women.
