Member of Coordinating Council of World Congress of Crimean Tatars Nusret Jemilev was Awarded Dostlik Order

On August 27, 2012 the member of Coordinating Council of World Congress of Crimean Tatars, Head of Tashkent Crimean Tatar National – Cultural Center “Avdet” Nusret Jemilev was awarded Dostlik Order for the achievements in strengthening the friendship, brotherhood and mutual consent between the representatives of all nations and peoples, contribution to the development of the friendship and cooperation between the nations of Uzbekistan.

Dostlik Order is one of the highest state awards of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This Order was initiated by the President Islam Karimov at the session of the Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held on May 5-6, 1994.

Dostlik Order (in Uzbek stands for “Friendship”) is awarded for the achievements in strengthening the friendship, brotherhood and mutual consent between the representatives of all nations and peoples, contribution to the development of the friendship and cooperation between the nations of Uzbekistan.

The ceremonial awarding of Dostlik Order and corresponding papers is held with participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan or Speaker of the LegislativeChamber of the Oliy Majlisof the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chairman of Senate Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The persons, awarded Dostlik Order receive a money reward equal to 30 minimal salaries and enjoy the preference, established by the law.
