Every Muslim’s Duty is to Obey and Honor Traditions of Islam, Support Each Other and Show Unity in Good Deeds

Since the beginning of the sacred month of Ramadan the iftars (evening meals of Muslims during the fast) are given, supported by the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Crimea, Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and its regional representations, as well as the Crimean Tatar entrepreneurs.

Some Crimean mosques have iftars every day, in particular, Aqmescit (Simferopol), Saki, Qarasubazar (Belogorsk) and Eski Qirim (Stary Krim), as well as three times a week in the territory of the Crimean branch of All-Ukrainian Association of Public Organizations “Alraid”.

On August 11, 2012, on the 23rd day of Ramadan the iftar was given to the residents of the Central region of Simferopol, Petrovskaya Balka district by Simferopol Regional Mejlis, supported by the member of Simferopol City Council Seitumer Berberov, member of Central District Council of Simferopol Lilya Muslimova and Crimean International Business – Association.

The ceremonial evening meal – ifter, attended by more than 50 persons was held in cozy café “Meraba”.

The organizers of iftar wished patience to all those who keep the fast and that Allah blessed their families and accepted their fast and reverence.

In their turn the elders of Petrovskaya Balka district underscored that the duty of an every Muslim is to obey and honor traditions of Islam, support each other and show unity in good deeds.
