President Viktor Yanukovych Stated that Authorities Solve Gradually Crimean Tatars’ Problems

The authorities solve gradually the problems, relating to the return and resettlement of Crimean Tatars. The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych made such statement at the meeting of the Public Humanitarian Council, held on July 3, 2012, the Press Service of the President of Ukraine reports.

“We made certain progress in this field. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “On the Restoration of the Rights of Persons, Deported on the National Grounds” in the first reading. However, there is still much work left,”- Viktor Yanukovych underscored.

Today, the President of Ukraine noted, due to its unique geographical position Ukraine is one of the significant elements of the world migration processes – that is why the ethnic composition of its population is subject to constant change.
