Vice Speaker of Ukrainian Parliament Nicolay Tomenko is Sure that United Opposition will Achieve Restoration of Rights of Deported Persons

“I’m very glad to be in Simferopol among my colleagues and team-mates, along with whom we have been fighting for many years for the democratic and European Ukraine. I believe that due to our common efforts we will live soon in Ukraine that will be the native and deserved state both for Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars,”- Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nicolay Tomenko said at the all-Crimean mourning meeting, timed to the 68th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from their historical Homeland – Crimea.

The Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nicolay Tomenko also said that the representatives of the united opposition are  obliged to do their best to adopt as soon as possible the law “On the Restoration of the Rights of Persons, Deported on the National Grounds”.

Reference: On May 18, 2012 the all-Crimean mourning meeting, timed to the 68th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from their historical Homeland – Crimea was held in Crimea, attended by more than 30 thousand people.
