Cultural Center of Alushta Crimean Tatar National-Cultural Society “Chatyr-Dag” to be Opened in Alushta on November 6, 2011

On November 6, 2011, on the first day of Muslim holiday Kurban-Bayram (Id al-Adha) the ceremonial opening of the Cultural Center of Alushta Crimean Tatar National-Cultural Society “Chatyr-Dag” to be held in Alushta. The Head of the Board of Alushta Crimean Tatar National-Cultural Society “Chatyr-Dag” Seit-Yagya Kazakov informed about this.

The ceremonial opening to be attended by the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev, authorities of Alushta region, representatives of the charitable organization “Foundation for Development of Crimea”, national-cultural societies of Crimea and local community. According to the Head of Board of “Chatyr-Dag” S. Kazakov, the new cultural center will promote to the preservation and development of the cultural and national traditions of Crimean Tatars, as well as strengthening of the friendly relations between the representatives of the national-cultural societies of Alushta region.
