Mustafa Jemilev Took Part in Ukrainian Catholic University’s Charitable Evening

On October 29, 2011 the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev attended as a honored guest the 4thcharitable banquette and auction, supporting the Ukrainian Catholic University that was held in hotel “InterContinental”.
The event was also attended by such honored guests as patriarch of Ukrainian Greek – Catholic Church Svyatoslav Schevchuk, archbishop Lubomir Guzar, Apostolic nuncio in Ukraine, Pope Benedict XVI’s envoy Thomas Edvard Gallikson, Head of the Charitable foundation, public figure Bohdan Gavrilishin (Canada), famous film director and scriptwriter KrzysztofZanussi (Poland), prince Michel Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky (Lithuania), writer Adrian Slivotsky (USA), Head of Board of Foundation “Ukraine 3000” Ekaterina Yuschenkoand the Head of the observing council of the charitable foundation “Vidkriy Ukrainu” Tereziya Yatsenuk.
The leader of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people M.Jemilev gave the commitment of the charitable organization “Foundation for Development of Crimea” to cover one term tuition fee of one student in Ukrainian Catholic University in an amount of 12000 UAH.
