Leader of Mejlis Took Part in Reception Celebrating the 88th Anniversary of Creation of Turkish Republic

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Turkish Republic to Ukraine Mr. Akhmet Bulent Merich invited the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev and his spouse Safinar Jemileva, the Chairwoman of the League of Crimean Tatar Women to take part in the official celebration of the 88th anniversary of the creation of the Turkish Republic.

On October 28, 2011 the embassy of the Turkish Republic to Ukraine gave the state reception to celebrate the main national holiday of Turkey – the 88th anniversary of declaration of the Republic and at the same time election of Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) the President of the Turkish Republic.

Among the other guests from Crimea who received the personal invitation of the Ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine Akhmet Bulent Merich to take part in the official reception, held in the restaurant of Hotel “Hyatt” in Kyiv were the Honored Consul of the Republic of Turkey in Simferopol Seyran Osmanov, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Sadykh Tabakh, Head of Association of Crimean Tatars in Kyiv Aslan Umerov, President of the Charity Foundation “Dzhan Jurekten” (With All One’s Heart) Ebazer Emiradzhiev and delegate of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5th convocation Bekir Ganiev.
