Cengiz Dagci Commemoration Meeting to be Held in Crimean Tatar Theatre

According to the chief editor of magazine “Emel” Zafer Karatay a commemoration meeting for the late Cengiz Dagci – the prominent Crimean Tatar writer, died on September 22, 2011 in London, to be held in Crimean Tatar Academic Musical and Drama Theatre on September 28, 2011 at 5 p.m.

The commemoration meeting for the world-famous novelist will be attended by the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev, members of Mejlis, Cengiz Dagci’s relatives and friends, writers, teachers and the general public.

The program also includes the presentation of the documentary film titled “Cengiz Dagci” created by the journalist of the Turkish TV channel “TRT” Zafer Karatay.
