The lower house of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) passed a resolution condemning the genocide of the Crimean Tatars by the Soviet authorities in 1944.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
414 members of the Polish Parliament voted for the adoption of the resolution, 16 voted against it, and two abstained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The deportation of Crimean Tatars from Crimea in 1944 and its consequences was genocide against the Crimean Tatar people”, the resolution states.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
