{"id":82520,"date":"2023-09-29T18:48:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-29T15:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/?p=82520"},"modified":"2023-11-23T18:48:46","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T15:48:46","slug":"the-chairman-of-the-mejlis-met-with-the-former-minister-of-foreign-affairs-of-the-republic-of-kosovo-petrit-selimi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/en\/the-chairman-of-the-mejlis-met-with-the-former-minister-of-foreign-affairs-of-the-republic-of-kosovo-petrit-selimi\/","title":{"rendered":"The Chairman of the Mejlis met with the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo Petrit Selimi"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On September 29, 2023, in Kyiv, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Refat CHUBAROV, met with Petrit Selimi, former Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo (2016). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>&#8211; During the meeting, they discussed the situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea and the need to strengthen international support for Ukraine in repelling Russian aggression, Refat Chubarov said.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Petrit SELIMI noted the high level of support and sympathy of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo for the struggle of Ukrainians for their freedom and independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interlocutors agreed that any attempt by Russia to disregard the principles of international law and avoid punishment for crimes against Ukraine and its citizens will end in failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to establish systematic interaction between the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the public and political institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Petrit SELIMI invited the delegation of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people to visit the Republic of Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was also attended by Eldar SULEIMANOV, assistant to the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, and Ayder KHALILOV, an expert on international issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Press service of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I had a very warm, informative meeting w\/ Refat \u00c7ubarov, Chairperson of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People in \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6, a well known and liked political figure.
