{"id":47026,"date":"2018-03-05T15:11:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-05T12:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/?p=47026"},"modified":"2022-02-01T15:12:29","modified_gmt":"2022-02-01T12:12:29","slug":"the-ukraine-nato-interparliamentary-council-unic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/en\/the-ukraine-nato-interparliamentary-council-unic\/","title":{"rendered":"The Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council (UNIC)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>A meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council is&nbsp;taking place&nbsp;in Odesa.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants are:&nbsp;member of&nbsp;the&nbsp;NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA)&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Raynell Andreychuk,&nbsp;Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Alexander Vinnikov, Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Center&nbsp;in&nbsp;Ukraine&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Barbora Maronkova, members of the Interparliamentary Council and NATO Parliamentary Assembly Committees, Ambassadors&nbsp;Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of&nbsp;the Republic of&nbsp;Lithuania and the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ukraine is represented by:&nbsp;the&nbsp;First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Iryna Herashchenko, Vice-Prime-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Minister on Temporarily&nbsp;Occupied Territories&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Vadym Chernysh, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Dmytro Shymkiv, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Refat Chubarov,&nbsp;people&#8217;s deputies of Ukraine,&nbsp;Head of the Odesa Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Refat Chubarov together with the deputy head of &#8220;CrimeaSOS&#8221;, Eugenia Andreyuk,&nbsp;participated&nbsp;in the discussion&nbsp;of&nbsp;such issue as the&nbsp;&#8220;Militarization of Crimea and Violation of Human Rights on the Peninsula.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agenda also&nbsp;includes debates&nbsp;on&nbsp;such&nbsp;topics&nbsp;as:&nbsp;Ukraine-NATO cooperation, Ukrainian reforms, Humanitarian and Security situations&nbsp;in the East of Ukraine and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, according to the program,\u00a0the\u00a0participants will visit the Western Naval Base of Ukraine;\u00a0the\u00a0Flagship of Ukrainian Navy, frigate\u00a0\u201cHetman Sahaydachniy\u201d;\u00a0will\u00a0meet with students of the Odesa I.I.Mechnikov National University,\u00a0and\u00a0representatives of non-governmental organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"704\" height=\"969\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ua_nato.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47027\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ua_nato.jpeg 704w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ua_nato-218x300.jpeg 218w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 704px) 100vw, 704px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council is&nbsp;taking place&nbsp;in Odesa.
