On December 15, 2013, the interregional meeting attended by the leaders of the Mejlis, heads of the department of the Mejlis and delegates of the Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar People, the heads of the local bodies of the national self-governance, members of the local councils and heads of Muslim ummahs of Qarasubazar region was held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vice chairmen of the Mejlis – Mr Zaur Smirnov, Mr Nariman Jelyal and Mr Akhtem Chiygoz, heads of the departments and services of the Mejlis \u2013 Mr Seidamet Yagyaev, Ms Gayana Yuksel, Mr Bekir Mamutov, Ms Emine Avamileva, the members of the Mejlis \u2013 Ms Diana Siedametova, Mr Shevket Kaibulaev, Mr Eskender Bariev, head of the Revision Commission of the Qurultay Mr Ali Ozenbash and Mr Mustafa Asaba, Chairman of Qarasubazar Regional Mejlis took part in the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Vice Chairman of the Mejlis Mr Zaur Smirnov, the initial format of the interregional meeting provided the participation of the representatives of Sudak Regional Mejlis, but due to leaving of the delegation of Sudak region to Euromaidan in Kyiv the decision was made to hold the separate meeting in Sudak and the date will be announced later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Mr Zaur Smirnov informed that in connection with the Head of the Mejlis Mr Refat Chubarov\u2019s participation in \u201cNarodne Veche\u201d in Kyiv on December 15, 2013, he couldn\u2019t attend the meeting in Qarasubazar, but wished the fruitful work to the participants of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn behalf of the Crimean Tatar people the Chairman of the Mejlis will speak at the peaceful action of the Ukrainian citizens on Euromaidan. In the nearest future Mr Chubarov will certainly visit Qarasubazar region,\u201d- Mr Smirnov said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing the meeting the heads of the departments and services of the Mejlis informed the representatives of the representatives of the Crimean Tatar national self-governance bodies of Qarasubazar region about the distinguishing features of work and top priority tasks of the units headed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn order to classify the work and efficient implementation of the goals and tasks set we should carry the constant and close dialogue, to arrange the interrelation between the Milli Mejlis and its regional and local representative offices,\u201d- the heads of the departments and services of the Mejlis noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, Ms Gayana Yuksel recommended the chairmen of the regional mejlises to appoint the officers responsible for the interrelations with every department of the Milli Mejlis and keep in constant touch, informing about the coming events in all local mejlises and life of our nationals, be sociable and active in creating the newsbreaks for Mass Media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Akhtem Chiygoz, Vice Chairman of the Mejlis thanked the representatives of Qarasubazar region for their support of the all-Crimean meeting, timed to the International Human Rights Day that was held on December 10. \u201cOn that day we in fact stated about the beginning of the all-Crimean events timed to the 70th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people to be held under the aegis of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People. Our main demands are not an \u201ceye opener\u201d for the authorities. They are: adoption of the legal acts aimed at the restoration of the collective rights of our people, financing of the Program of the resettlement in full amount, introduction of the Mejlis into the frameworks of Ukrainian law and conducting of the International forum before May 18, 2014 that will put the final dot in \u201covertures\u201d of the authorities with the representative body of the Crimean Tatars,\u201d- Mr Chiygoz underscored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The representatives of Qarasubazar region wished more qualitative and efficient work both of the Milli Mejlis and Qarasubazar Regional Mejlis. \u201cWe support the recommendations stated by the heads of the departments and services of the Mejlis relating to the importance of the regular meetings with the nationals, accounting of the work done and consideration of the future plans. We are ready to support and take part in all events held under the aegis of Qarasubazar Regional Mejlis and Milli Mejlis,\u201d- the delegates of the Qurultay of the 6th<\/sup>\u00a0convocation and members of the local councils of Qarasubazar region said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
