The Crimean Militia investigates arson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Head of the Secretariat of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Mr Zair Smedlyaev, the fire started in the mosque in Rovnoe in early morning on October 15, 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe fire started at around 6 a.m. one hour before namaz. Thanks good the mosque was not completely destroyed, but the holy books burned off,\u201d- Mr Smedlyaev said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"370\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/podjeg_djami_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/podjeg_djami_2.jpg 650w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/podjeg_djami_2-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The First Vice Chairman of the Mejlis Mr Refat Chubarov informed that part of the holy books and household equipment were destroyed and the praying room of the mosque will require some cosmetic repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Mr Zair Smedlyaev, two mosques burned within three days couldn\u2019t not be just a coincidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI think that the \u201cbranch\u201d of the same organization that started fire in Saki acted here. These folks repeatedly spread chauvinistic leaflets.
