On February 21, 2013 the Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian community held the ceremony of laying flowers to Peter Grigorenko\u2019s monument, located in P. Grigorenko\u2019s square (former Soviet square) in Simferopol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony, organized by the veterans of the Crimean Tatar national movement and youth organizations with support of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, was timed to the 26th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of death of the great friend of Crimean Tatars, well-known human rights advocate, co-founder of Ukrainian Helsinki Group, General Peter Grigorenko,\u00a0Krymskotatarske pitannya online\u00a0reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ceremony began with placing of flowers to the dissident\u2019s monument.
