{"id":40321,"date":"2012-12-02T19:43:00","date_gmt":"2012-12-02T16:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/?p=40321"},"modified":"2022-01-26T19:45:48","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T16:45:48","slug":"on-december-2-2012-mejlis-of-the-crimean-tatar-people-continued-its-meeting-to-consider-draft-regulations-on-elections-of-delegates-of-qurultay-of-the-crimean-tatar-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/en\/on-december-2-2012-mejlis-of-the-crimean-tatar-people-continued-its-meeting-to-consider-draft-regulations-on-elections-of-delegates-of-qurultay-of-the-crimean-tatar-people\/","title":{"rendered":"On December 2, 2012 Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Continued its Meeting to Consider Draft Regulations on Elections of Delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar People"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The members of Mejlis along with the members of the Central Election Commission completed the article by article consideration of the comparative table, including the Draft Regulations on the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people, developed by the Central Election Commission and proposals, received by the working group from Mejlis members and the heads of regional mejlises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the consideration of the Draft Regulations on the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people the participants of the meeting came to the opinion that part of the articles proposed contradict to the Regulations of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people \u201cOn the basic principles of the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people\u201d and the decision to include them into the Regulations lay exclusively within the competence of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The members of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people adopted unanimously the decision to hold the 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0session of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0convocation on January 12, 2012 to approve the Regulations on the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people. The Organizing group was approved to prepare and hold the session of Qurultay, headed by the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev. The decision was also made to publish in newspaper \u201cAvdet\u201d the variant of the Regulations on the elections of the delegates of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people, recommended by Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people before December 17, 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"400\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_1368.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40326\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_1368.jpg 650w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_1368-300x185.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The members of Mejlis also discussed\u00a0two attacks, committed against Crimean Tatars. As is known, at night on November 30 \u2013 December 1, 2012 in Crimea at around 2 a.m. about 100 young men, including Cossacks and owners of the land plots, disputed by Crimean Tatars \u2013 participants of \u201cprotest camp\u201d came to the protest camp, locating along \u201cMoscowskaya\u00bb road near Molodezhnoe settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the \u201cnight guests\u201d the goal of their visit was the \u201crestoration\u201d of the right to the disputable land. At this, according to Refat Chubarov, neither the night bandits, not the leadership of Crimean Militia that ensured their escort with at least the same number of Militia officers and \u201cBerkut\u201d forces were embarrassed with the methods, as well as with the possible consequences of the night riot. It their turn about 20 Crimean Tatars, the eye witnesses of the destruction of more then 100 small houses, built by the participants of the \u201cprotest camp\u201d they made no actions in response, as they were sure that it was the attempt to provoke the direct conflict with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Literally in two hours after the end of the riot in the protest camp next to Molodezhnoe settlement at about 5 a.m. on December 1, 2012 already in Aqmescit (Simferopol) the unestablished persons attacked the guard of the territory of the future construction of Buyuk Juma Jami (Central Mosque) using bottles with inflammable liquid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mufti of Muslims of Crimea hajji Emirali Ablaev and the First Vice Chairman of Mejlis Refat Chubarov as well as the law enforcement officers arrived at the scene as soon as they found out about the accident from the guard of the territory of the future construction of Buyuk Juma Jami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Head of Simferopol Regional Mejlis Lemmar Yunusov informed Mejlis members that the participants of the protest camp, locating next to Molodezhnoe settlement are going to hold meeting on December 3, 2012 in the territory mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people expects the official response from the law enforcement agencies and republican authorities to the resonant incidents, held on December 1, 2012 at night on Yaltinska Str, 22 in Simferopol, as well as in the protest camp, located next to
