{"id":32768,"date":"2012-11-08T23:13:00","date_gmt":"2012-11-08T20:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/?p=32768"},"modified":"2022-01-21T23:15:36","modified_gmt":"2022-01-21T20:15:36","slug":"mustafa-jemilev-takes-part-in-trial-against-communist-regime-in-berlin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/en\/mustafa-jemilev-takes-part-in-trial-against-communist-regime-in-berlin\/","title":{"rendered":"Mustafa Jemilev Takes Part in Trial against Communist Regime in Berlin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On November 8, 2012 the meeting of the members of the Council of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience, titled \u201cTotalitarianism in Europe\u201d started its work in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Considering the issues, relating to the Platform\u2019s activity and election of new members the new Working Groups were created to deal with the implementation of the Platform\u2019s main goal \u2013 to study the crimes, committed by the Communist regime in the 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, being the Platform\u2019s member since June 2012 entered the Working Group \u201cTrial against the Communist Regime\u201d. The Group also includes the representatives of the public organizations from Germany, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia and other EU countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2_80.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32783\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2_80.jpg 650w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2_80-300x162.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev spoke before the members of the Working Group noting that: \u201cthe trial against the Communist Regime, Communist Party and its misanthropic ideology is a noble goal and a tribute to the memory of millions of victims of this mean and terrific regime in the history of the humankind without which it would be very difficult to develop the democratic principles and open society in the post-Soviet territory!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should be noted that the meeting of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience and creation of the Working Group on the trial against the Communist regime started in the premises of the former prison of the State Security Service of the Communist GDR Stasi, timed to the 23<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;anniversary of the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989, that marked the beginning of the end of the Communist regime in the 20<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On November 9, 2012 the meeting of the members of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience in Berlin continues its work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/4_50.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32791\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/4_50.jpg 650w, https:\/\/qtmm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/4_50-300x162.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 8, 2012 the meeting of the members of the Council of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience, titled \u201cTotalitarianism in Europe\u201d started its work in Berlin.
